Our Rehabilitation Programs
SGMC Acute Therapy Services
The SGMC Health Acute Therapy team provides hospital‑based rehabilitation for medical and surgical patients at all four hospital campuses. Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech‑language pathology.
Therapists collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, social workers, and families to assess each patient’s condition, provide targeted therapeutic interventions, and determine the most appropriate next level of rehabilitation care.

SGMC Inpatient Rehabilitation Center
The SGMC Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center serves patients who have experienced functional loss due to a disabling illness or injury. This program provides intensive, coordinated rehabilitation designed to help patients regain independence and prepare for a return to the community.
