Open Enrollment FAQs

What is Open Enrollment?
The Open Enrollment period is the time each year when all employees can enroll in benefits coverage or change their current benefits coverage for the upcoming calendar year.

What are the Open Enrollment dates this year?
The Open Enrollment period for benefits is November 15, 2023 through November 29, 2023.

Do all current eligible employees need to enroll or re-enroll for benefits during Open Enrollment?
Yes, you must login to the Infor system to make and submit benefit elections so that you have coverage effective January 1st, 2024.

If you do not login to make and submit elections in Infor, your benefits will not carry over to January 1st, 2024. This is due to the multiple changes in plans and carriers.

What is the effective date of my new benefit choices?
The new benefit choices are effective January 1, 2024.

What happens if I miss the Open Enrollment period?
You will lose your benefits unless you qualify for a Life Event such as:

1. Get Married or Divorced
2. Have a baby or adopt a child
3. Lose your insurance
4. Have a death in your family household

I am interested in voluntary benefits through Allstate/Taylor Insurance. I don’t see the option to select those in the Infor system. Where do I go to do that?
You can elect or make changes to voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, whole life, or cancer insurance at https://awd.benselect.com/Enroll/

Will my voluntary benefits through Allstate/Taylor Insurance roll over automatically to next year?

Yes, Allstate and Taylor insurance elections are passive enrollments, there is no action to take if you would like to keep your current elections with them.

During my benefits selection I get a message, “May be subject to Evidence of Insurability”

Evidence of Insurability (EOI) is a record of a person’s past and current health events. It’s used by insurance companies to verify whether a person meets the definition of good health.  You will get this message on Life Insurance and Disability Insurance Options.  You do not need to take any additional steps at this time.  If you need to complete the form you will be notified at a later date.
