Rabail Saeed Shaikh, MD

Dr. Shaikh was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, and immigrated to the United States in 2022. Her journey into medicine began early, inspired by her father’s work serving a rural, underserved community. School vacations often meant accompanying him to his hospital, experiences that quietly nurtured the passion that would later shape her career in medicine. She went on to complete her medical education at Ziauddin University in Karachi, where she cared for patients from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. These formative encounters deepened her interest in internal medicine, particularly the complexity and interconnected nature of multisystem diseases.

Dr. Shaikh chose SGMC Health for its exceptional warmth and hospitality. From her first interaction, through the interview process and second look events, she felt genuinely welcomed and valued. Outside of medicine, Dr. Shaikh enjoys exploring her creative side through cooking and art projects. She also has a deep love for nature and is on a personal journey to visit as many scenic sites as possible.
