SGMC’s multidisciplinary team of interventional and non-invasive cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurse practitioners and cardiovascular imaging specialists, come together to develop individualized care plans while also collaborating to provide patients with advanced and effective cardiovascular care.
Inside SGMC’s state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, eligible patients can undergo minimally invasive procedures to treat aortic valve stenosis, mitral valve regurgitation, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect as an alternative to open-heart surgery.
We understand that being treated for a heart valve disorder can be overwhelming. That’s why our patients have access to a specially trained cardiac clinician, also known as a valve clinic coordinator, who provides individualized support throughout the journey to improved cardiac health.
