Our Pediatric Unit features nurses who are Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified, a pediatric hospitalist and affiliated community pediatricians, a secure patient environment, and advanced treatment and documentation systems.
Dedicated Pediatric Unit
Our 23-bed Pediatric Unit provides children and adolescents with a quiet, private, and secure environment for recovery from illness, injury, or surgery.
Outpatient Care for Children and Families
For minor illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention, SGMC Urgent Care provides two locations for convenient care for patients of all ages, including children.
If your child or family needs a primary care provider, SGMC Primary Care – Connell offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages—from infants and children to adults and seniors. The practice serves as the continuity clinic for SGMC Health’s Family Medicine Residency Program, where patients are cared for by Family Medicine resident physicians under the supervision of experienced Family Medicine attending physicians. The team provides ongoing preventive care, sick visits, chronic disease management, and family-centered care, allowing multiple members of the same family to receive care in one practice.
