Vivek Yadav, MD

Dr. Vivek Yadav is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care medicine specialist with extensive experience in managing complex and critically ill patients. He received his medical degree from the University of Delhi, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and patient care. Dr. Yadav completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary diseases and Critical Care Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, also in Brooklyn, NY.

In his role as a Pulmonologist & Intensivist at SGMC Health, he is actively involved in the care of patients in the intensive care unit, where he manages a wide range of critical illnesses and respiratory conditions. His clinical expertise extends to all aspects of pulmonology, with a particular interest in thoracic oncology and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Dr. Yadav is skilled in performing Robotic Bronchoscopy, cryobiopsy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), and other minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and management of lung diseases. He is dedicated to advancing the field of pulmonary medicine through the adoption of cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices.

Currently, Dr. Yadav serves as a core faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at SGMC Health and holds the title of Assistant Professor of medicine at the Mercer University School of Medicine. He is passionate about medical education and enjoys mentoring medical students and resident physicians. He is actively involved in research initiatives aimed at improving the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
