Victoria Johnson, MD

Dr. Victoria Johnson is an obstetrician and gynecologist at SGMC Women’s Health on Oak Street Extension in Valdosta, GA. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for women across all stages of life—from adolescence through menopause. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of menstrual disorders, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, menopause symptoms, and high-risk pregnancies.

In addition to routine preventive care such as Pap smears, breast exams, and contraceptive counseling, Dr. Johnson is a skilled surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive procedures. She performs laparoscopic and robotic-assisted hysterectomies, myomectomies, and tubal ligations, as well as cesarean sections in complex obstetric cases.

Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident in her final year. Known for her warm bedside manner and collaborative approach, she fosters a safe, respectful environment where patients feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health.

Her passion for medicine was sparked by a personal experience in childhood, witnessing her grandmother’s health challenges. Today, she is committed to building lasting relationships with patients and families in South Georgia, drawn to SGMC Health’s culture of excellence and community connection.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Johnson enjoys traveling with her husband, Brock, and their energetic son, Brave. She’s a music lover with a background in violin and trumpet, a fan of crime TV shows, and an avid event planner who delights in creating memorable experiences for loved ones.
