South Georgia Medical Center announces Kevin Moore as administrator of its Berrien Campus located in Nashville, Georgia. Moore has served as the interim administrator for the past 8 months and will continue providing leadership oversight of Hospice of South Georgia. He has been with the health system for more than ten years.

Moore will oversee the day-to-day healthcare operations of the Berrien Campus including strategic direction, quality performance, financial management, and the construction of the new Berrien Hospital emergency room.

SGMC Berrien Campus was formed in 2013 when SGMC purchased the original Berrien County Hospital. Today, the hospital is licensed for 63 beds, 12 of which are geriatric/psychiatric beds, and provides general medical services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients.

Moore graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN), a graduate of the Leadership Lowndes class of 2018, and has received a certificate for leadership training from Multi-View Incorporated, a hospice-based consulting company.

Moore is married to Lindsey and together they have three boys, Sawyer, Davis, and Briggs.

Moore currently serves on the board of directors for Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care, the Board of Trustees for Park Avenue United Methodist Church, and is a member of the Nashville Rotary Club.
