This prestigious distinction reflects SGMC Health’s unwavering commitment to providing evidence-based, life-saving care to patients experiencing in-hospital cardiac arrest.
According to the AHA, each year, more than 300,000 adults and children in the United States experience cardiac arrest while hospitalized. Survival in these high-stakes moments depends heavily on timely intervention and the effective use of CPR by trained emergency response teams.
The Get With The Guidelines® Resuscitation program is designed to help hospitals consistently follow the latest research-based protocols to improve outcomes. These include timely medical emergency team activation, high-quality resuscitation, patient safety protocols, and comprehensive post-resuscitation care.
