Dr. Anigbogu is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He serves as a general cardiologist, providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of heart conditions—such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and preventive cardiovascular care. Unlike subspecialists who focus on highly specific procedures, a general cardiologist is often the first point of contact for heart health, offering diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for adult patients.
Dr. Anigbogu earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles and also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). He completed his internship at New York Methodist Hospital and his residency at Aurora St. Luke’s Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He has been practicing with SGMC Health since 2018, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to improve cardiovascular health in the community.
