Dr. Shawn Vandemark is a board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Vandemark graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He went on to five years of training in general surgery at St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI. and an additional two-year fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Wayne State University, also in Detroit, MI. After completing his training, Dr. Vandemark and his family moved to Valdosta. He has been in practice, since moving here in 2006. He has a busy career with a diverse practice of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Vandemark is proud to be part of the SGMC team. He has been operating at SGMC for 12 years and has continued to work with the staff to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Vandemark and his wife, Dr. Wendy Vandemark who is a practicing Psychiatrist in Valdosta, enjoy spending their spare time with their three children, Collin (19), Caleb (17), and Camille (7). They enjoy the South Georgia community. Dr. Vandemark loves to spend his free time outdoors on his farm.
