South Georgia Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Chason McCook to Director of Physician Network Revenue Cycle.
McCook has been with SGMC for over 11 years, and has 17 years of experience in finance. He has served in various roles throughout the health system to include Cash Operations Manager and Revenue Cycle Manager.
In his new position McCook will oversee billing of all professional service claims for SGMC’s Physician Network.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to join SGMC’s leadership team and contribute to the growth of the SGMC Physician Network providing valuable services to our region,” said McCook.
McCook graduated from Bainbridge College and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Healthcare Administration.
McCook is a member of the Medical Group Management Association: South Georgia Chapter and serves as the 2022 Treasurer.
He is married to Abby and they have two children, Ashlyn and Ethan.
