Honor a Loved One with the SGMC Love Light Tree

Posted on: December 14th, 2010

This holiday season, you can honor a loved one or memorialize a loved one who has passed away by donating a tax-deductible gift of $15 or more to the South Georgia Medical Center Love Light Tree. For your gift, a personalized ornament will be placed on the tree located in SGMC’s main lobby. In addition, a card will be sent to those you asked us to notify acknowledging your gift. All gift amounts are kept confidential. Your generosity will also be recognized in our quarterly magazine, The Center Window, and on our website, www.sgmc.org.Last year, the Love Light Tree benefited the Pearlman Cancer Center.  In 2010, the SGMC Volunteer Auxiliary and Foundation’s Light Up A Life effort will help raise funds for a variety of needs within our hospital.   The hospital is gearing up to build a new patient tower which will include a new Dasher Heart Center, expanded intensive care units as well as all private patient rooms. Gifts to the Love Light Tree will help us to achieve these lofty goals and continue to provide life-giving therapies. For more information, please contact at Elizabeth Vickers, Foundation director, at 229-333-1077.
