The physicians are complemented by a team of highly trained clinicians and registered nurses to help during office visits. We’re delighted to bring this level of specialized, integrated medical care to the residents of Berrien County,” said Neil Ginty, administrator of SGMC Berrien Campus. “By opening this clinic, we’ve responded to a growing community need for specialized medical care to be made available locally including the services of gastroenterologists, OB/GYNs, podiatrists, orthopedists, surgeons and more.”Dr. Williams also states that Southland is partnering with SGMC and Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland to open a similar multi-specialty clinic in that community.  “We want to show the integration between the clinics. If the residents in these smaller communities do not have a local doctor, or if they have a complication from a procedure, he or she can come to the local clinic and we can facilitate from there. We want to ensure a seamless experience, Dr. Williams explained.”SGMC CEO Randy Sauls said, “SGMC and its affiliates understand that traveling for specialty medical appointments can be time consuming and costly. Not only is it a privilege, but a key component of our strategic plan to partner with specialty physicians to bring an expanded level of care to these communities.”For more information, contact the SGMC Berrien Campus Multi-Specialty Care Center at 229-686-2096.
