Sleep Medicine

What We Do

SGMC Health’s Sleep Medicine program evaluates and treats sleep disorders that can affect heart health, mood, energy, and overall quality of life. Our center combines accredited facilities with experienced clinicians to deliver accurate testing and effective treatment plans.

Common Conditions We Treat

  • Obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea
  • Insomnia and circadian rhythm disorders
  • Restless legs syndrome and periodic limb movement disorder
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness and parasomnias

Our Approach

  • Consultation with a Sleep Medicine specialist (in collaboration with Neurology)
  • Diagnostic sleep studies, offered both in‑lab and at home, to identify the cause of symptoms (WatchPAT HST available)
  • Personalized treatment: CPAP/bilevel therapy titration, oral appliance referrals, Inspire therapy, behavioral strategies for insomnia, and follow‑up to optimize outcomes
