Congratulations to the Dasher Heart Center at SGMC, for ranking in the top ten for Cardiac Surgery for the second consecutive year!

A Center of Excellence at SGMC, the Dasher Heart Center offers comprehensive cardiac care that includes open-heart surgery (including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, valve surgery, and off-pump bypass procedures), cardiac interventions (such as angioplasty and stent placement), diagnostic procedures, cardiac skilled nursing with monitoring in the 8-bed cardiac intensive care unit or 17-bed cardiac progressive unit, and outpatient cardiac rehab once you are discharged.

Dasher Heart Center has recently celebrated it's 10th Anniversary which corresponded with the groundbreaking of a new five story patient tower which will house the new Dasher Heart Center.
