Enteroscopy

Enteroscopy is a diagnostic tool allowing physicians to see your small bowel. The procedure may be used to diagnose and treat hidden GI bleeding, to evaluate for mal-absorption, or to confirm problems of the small bowel seen on an x-ray.

An Enteroscopy will require moderate sedation and a short recovery period. You should expect to spend two to four hours in the Endoscopy department.
