Community Health Break

A Community Health Break is a lunch or dinner program held quarterly for the community. Medical personnel from the area speak on health related topics.

Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic

Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics are held each year in the fall. A person can remain in his or her car and receive a flu vaccine conveniently and quickly. The cost of vaccination is minimal.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program

This is a low-key exercise program designed to improve range of motion and flexibility in the arthritic patient. Taught twice weekly by a certified instructor, this is a program of the Arthritis Foundation. To attend this program, contact Cardiac Rehab at 229.245.6211.

Seniors Walk

Each May, in conjunction with National Seniors Health and Fitness Day, SGMC hosts Seniors Walk. This program targets nutrition and exercise for senior citizens by providing blood pressure checks, medication checks, complimentary breakfast, a quick health presentation, prizes and concludes with a walk around the track.
