Pearlman Cancer Center

SGMC Tackles Prostate Cancer with
FREE Annual Prostate Screenings

When cancer strikes in your family, you will want the treatment to be the very best.  You will want the best doctors, nurses, technologists and pharmacists. You will want treatments that are second-to none. You can rest assured, all of this can be found at SGMC's Pearlman Comprehensive Cancer Center

According to the accreditation statement on the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer website, "Only Programs Offering the Best in Cancer Care Get This."  What "This" refers to is the continual ACS accreditation the Pearlman Cancer Center has consistently held for over 20 years.

Additionally, the Radiation Oncology program at SGMC is one of seven in Georgia accredited by the American College of Radiology.  This accreditation has been consistently maintained for 13 years.

Ten Cancer Center nurses have been through a rigorous credentialing process to become Oncology Certified Nurses (RN, OCN). The affiliated oncologists and staff stay on the forefront of medical advances by maintaining an active research program and offering clinical and pharmaceutical trial protocols.

When you pair these distinctive standards of excellence with Pearlman Cancer Center's comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to care that includes the medical, nutritional, spiritual, educational and psychosocial needs of patients, you will understand more fully what sets our program apart from the rest. Our affiliated oncologists and staff are committed to providing the timely, efficient and effective cancer care you and your family wish to receive.
