South Georgia Medical Center is a full-service, not-for-profit medical facility with a staff of over 2300. The hospital is licensed for 335-beds, and offers a full range of services to include: Ambulatory Services, Women & Children, Birthplace, Cardiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Community Health Promotion, Open Heart Center, Cancer Center, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Room,  Hospice, Laboratory, Medical Library, Nursing Services, Nutrition Services, Occupational & Industrial Medicine Center, Outpatient Center, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Psychiatric & Chemical Dependency Services, Primary Care Center, Respiratory Therapy, Social Services, Diabetes and Wound Healing Clinics, Speech Therapy, Surgical Services, and Volunteers. 

Psychiatric and chemical dependency services are provided by Greenleaf, which operates a main hospital as well as an Outpatient Center in Valdosta. Greenleaf offers inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient therapy, employee assistance programs, and a toll-free 24-hour help-line.
