Community Health Programs
In a world that probably will never be disease free, SGMC's Community Health Promotion (CHP) department works with our affiliated physicians, South Health District, American Cancer Society and many other organizations to offer an assortment of free or low cost
- programs
- screenings
- classes
- support groups
in an effort to identify common health problems and offer information and resources to help address these problems.
By empowering individuals to improve their health and wellness, medical complications are reduced and a better quality of life is enjoyed. View our 2011 Community Benefit Report.
The CHP team also works inconjunction with the SGMC Foundation and Kohl's Cares® to offer health and safety information and programs to the kids and teens in our community.
