SGMC Announces Administrative Directors

Valdosta, GA – South Georgia Medical Center announces new leadership which includes Eden Gerrald, Administrative Director of Critical Care and Specialty Nursing, and Mandy Yarbrough, Administrative Director of the Emergency Department.Gerrald most recently served as the Interim Administrative Director of Critical Care and Specialty Nursing and has nine years of clinical experience. Gerrald’s responsibilities include day to day operations and clinical performance of the Critical Care and Specialty Nursing Departments, and managing financial and clinical outcome measures. Gerrald holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University, where she also received a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Yarbrough most recently served as Interim Administrative Director of the Emergency Department and has twelve years of clinical experience in the Emergency, Intensive Care and Flight Nursing environments. She will direct the day to day operations and clinical performance of the Emergency Department, manage financial and clinical outcome measures, and serve as the liaison between staff and Sheridan physicians. Yarbrough holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. She is currently a student at Walden University, pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with plans to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration upon graduation.
