Ball Named to GAHE Board

The Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives has selected John P. Ball, III, FACHE as a member-at-large serving on the 2015 Board of Directors. GAHE is a professional organization of healthcare administrators committed to the development of leadership skills, knowledge exchange and facilitation of networking opportunities for its members.

GAHE is only such organization chartered by the American College of Healthcare Executives in Georgia. Professionally, Ball is the Assistant Administrator for Human Resources for the South Georgia Health System with responsibilities at the SGMC Main Campus, SGMC Smith Northview Campus, SGMC Lanier Campus and SGMC Berrien Campus.

Ball holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Banking and Finance from Morehouse College and dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Health Administration from Georgia State University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives and member of the Georgia Association of Health Care Executives.

Johnny is also very active in his community. He currently serves as the Chairman of Greater Lowndes Planning Commission and Chief Volunteer Officer for Boys and Girls Club of Valdosta. He is a member of 100 Black Men of Valdosta and is a graduate of Leadership Lowndes and Leadership Georgia.
